If you haven't already seen Up in 3D, I highly recommend it!! Actually, I insist! GO NOW!
This movie is definitely one of my favorites for this year. The story is really solid, the characters, charming, and visually, well we don't even have to go there.. haha :P
I can't wait to see it again, but in the mean time take a look at Lou Romano's development work on his blog. Glory be to Lou! seriously.

This past weekend was Gwynne and Matt's wedding in Wilmette, IL. It was the most fun I've had in a long time and I didn't realize until then how much I really missed my friends. New Apt!

Josh and I finally moved into a new place and are loving it! (especially the decorating :)) No more studio apts for me! I'm spoiled now with all these rooms. haha. Check out this retro wall clock I just bought on ebay. A lil cleaning up and its going to look smashing in the dining area.

Final Purr-Casso Piece

I've been meaning to post this for a while now. This is the final piece that Josh and I did for the Purr-Casso event in Berkeley. Josh painted over my original layout (you can see it in a previous post) and then I did some hand details with gold paint. I think it came out pretty nice for our first collaboration. We had a great time at the show too. The submissions were very impressive and we were happy to learn that our piece sold! :))) Thanks to everyone who contributed!!

What a night!

Yesterday night was the Totoro Forest Project gallery show at Pixar studios. I was lucky enough to get to see and meet alot of amazing artists and finally get to put some faces to some names :) I was also really excited to be accompanied by an artist who had a piece in the show, Clayton Stillwell. (good to see you Clay!) Here are a couple pics I took from outside the building, unfortunately we couldn't take cameras inside otherwise I'd have a LOT more. Josh and I couldn't help but try our luck at the silent auction and won a piece! yay! Its buy the super talented artist Deanna Marsigliese. Her style is amazing and I'm sooo excited to have an original :) A select number of pieces will be over at the Cartoon Art Museum for a while, so if you get the chance to go into the city, you MUST check it out! Thanks again everybody it was a blast :)
